Welcome back to another edition of Letters from the Editor. If you’ve been following along lately, you know my mind has been heavily focused on the life of a traveling artist—the freedom of the road, the fresh inspiration of new spaces, and the joy of tattooing in different environments.
As it turns out, the universe has a funny way of fast-tracking your thoughts into reality.
Recently, I made the abrupt decision to move on from the studio where I’ve spent the last two and a half years. While sudden, it was a necessary pivot to ensure I am always working in alignment with my career goals and the high standard of experience I want to provide for every single one of you. Twenty-four years in this industry has taught me to trust the timing of my life. When it’s time to turn the page, you don't hesitate; you ink the next chapter.
So, what does that mean for right now? It means the road is calling.
The Summer Tattoo Tour: Hometown Trail
Before I settle into a new permanent groove, I’m taking some time to do exactly what I love: hitting the road for my Summer Tattoo Tour. For the next four weeks, I’ll be doing guest spots at three studios owned by longtime friends.
I’m heading out to hit the three hard R’s:
Reno - with Lucky Chuck @Prison Blues Tattoo inside the Grand Sierra Resort
Red Bluff - with Fish on Juan @First Love Tattoo on the Sacramento river
Redding - with T.J. ReMix @Sincere Tattoo & Music in the urban jungle of Redding
This tour is all about reconnecting with old friends, creating great art, having some fun, and clearing the canvas of my own mind. Stay tuned for more posts about fishing, motorcycles and beaches! Looking Ahead: The New Home in Tracy
When the dust settles and I return from the tour, things are going to look a little different. I am incredibly excited to announce that my new home base will be at Salon Art Studios in Tracy, CA. These professionals are amazing, and the place is immaculate.
This space is exactly what I’ve been looking for to elevate the experience for my clients. I will be even more centrally located so my northern, southern, eastern and western clients can reach me. It’s clean, professional, affordable and provides the perfect backdrop for the focus and dedication I pour into every piece.
Here is what you need to know for bookings:
The Calendar is OPEN: I have already opened up my schedule for bookings at the new Tracy location for when I return from the tour.
Existing Clients: If you had an appointment on the books, don't sweat it. I am actively reaching out to transition your dates smoothly into the new space. Your trust and your skin are always my top priorities.
Securing Your Spot: Because of the transition and the tour, available dates for the late summer and fall are going to move quickly. If you have a project we need to finish or a new concept you want to start, hit the booking link now to lock it in.
