Because I am dedicating so much time and energy to prepping each individual masterpiece, I can only accept a very limited number of canvas projects per year. I review applications based on the depth of the theme, the quality of the canvas, and the level of trust the client is willing to give. If your project aligns with the direction I am taking, I will reach out to schedule a consultation.
Instead of bringing me a collection of specific images you want me to stitch together, I want you to bring me a core concept, a feeling, or a story. For example, instead of saying "I want a skull, a clock, some roses, and a compass," you would give me a theme like "The relentless march of time and beauty in decay." You bring the raw soul and energy; I decide the actual visual elements, contrast, and composition to bring it to life.
You won't see the final design until you walk into the studio on the day of your session. True art evolves constantly; locking a design down weeks in advance suffocates the creative flow. By designing in the days and hours leading up to your session—and even freehanding elements directly onto your body—the artwork perfectly matches your energy and anatomy in real-time.
To compete on a global, award-winning stage, the technical execution of the tattoo must be absolutely flawless. Cover-ups or blast-overs force an artist to make compromises with contrast, color saturation, and light sources because we are fighting existing ink. To create a true masterpiece, I need untouched, healthy skin so the design can flow naturally without limitations.
Anatomy dictates the art. A concept that looks incredible on an arm might look legendary if it flows across a thigh or wraps from the shoulder onto the chest. While we will agree on a general area (like a full sleeve), I reserve the right to let the art dictate its own boundaries. If you give me total flexibility on placement, it allows me to construct a piece that complements your muscle structure perfectly.
Your health directly impacts the final masterpiece. If you are taking blood thinners, heavy immunosuppressants, or undergoing treatments that compromise your immune system, your skin cannot heal the intense saturation required for large-scale work. Similarly, areas with heavy scarring, eczema, or severe sun damage alter how ink settles. We need optimal health to get award-winning results.
These are large-scale, endurance-testing projects. You should expect full-day sessions lasting anywhere from 6 to 8 hours under the needle. Because we are building massive, highly detailed pieces, a full sleeve or back piece will require multiple sessions spaced out over several months. You must be mentally and physically committed to the long haul.
I am incredibly grateful for the loyalty of the clients who built me—you are my family. To reach my life's ultimate goal of mastering this craft, I am dedicating 100% of my time, energy, and scheduling to these large-scale masterpiece projects. I am no longer accepting small, single-session pieces or walk-in style work. I hope you will choose to level up with me and take on a large-scale journey when you are ready!
It comes down to the vast difference between what I am able to do versus what I truly want to do in terms of execution and approach. For years, I have been technically capable of executing massive, large-scale tattoos—but those pieces were still bound by the traditional client-request model. I was using my skills to build your specific vision, stitching together references, and making artistic compromises to fit a pre-determined checklist. It was a large-scale tattoo, but it wasn't unbridled creation.
It will be more collaborative than ever—just in a deeper, more profound way.If you are worried that I am going to shut you out, block your input, or just treat you like a random piece of meat, please know that is not who I am. I want to hear your story. I want to know your motivations, your struggles, and your triumphs. You bring your raw human energy, your soul, and your inspiration to the table. You are the heartbeat of this project. Our collaboration is spiritual.
Honestly, it comes down to growth. For years, I acted as an interpreter for your exact ideas. While I loved that chapter, I have finally found the artistic bravery and confidence to take the reins completely. To create award-winning, iconic masterpieces that push the boundaries of skin art, I need to step out of my comfort zone and act as a true conduit of creation. I want to give you my absolute best work, and this is the only way to achieve it.
