The Power of Quality Over Quantity in Tattoo Art

Crafting Timeless Art, One Client at a Time

In the fast-paced world of tattooing, where the focus often shifts to the number of clients or the volume of tattoos completed, I’ve chosen a different path.

For me, the essence of tattooing lies not in how many tattoos I can produce, but in the time, dedication, and artistry I invest in each one.

As a professional tattoo artist, my goal is to serve 50 clients a year, each receiving 5-10 sessions. This focus on time spent rather than the number of tattoos allows me to pour my heart and soul into each piece. Forty hours is forty hours, and I believe that time is best spent creating something truly remarkable.

At 40 years old, I’m at a point in my career where I want to minimize the number of clients I take on to better serve those I do. I strive to create 50 works of art each year -for the next 20 years. By the time I retire, I want to know that 1,000 people will carry my art with them for life—a legacy of 1,000 stories that will keep being told.

Tattooing is more than a business; it’s a journey of creativity and expression.

My approach ensures that each tattoo is a masterpiece, meticulously crafted with the care and attention it deserves. This dedication to quality over quantity is what drives me, and it’s the standard I set for myself every time I pick up the needle.

So, as economics shift and the world around us changes, I remain steadfast in my mission:

to create art that resonates deeply with those who wear it, to focus on the process rather than the numbers, and to leave a lasting mark on the world, one client at a time.
