Pixel Kong

This pixel art piece was to honor a personal milestone using 8-bit Donkey Kong Jr. climbing a palm tree to celebrate a special date. To capture this I used crisp blocky geometric lines to map out the individual pixels of the character, paired with solid, vibrant colour packing for the orange tones of the monkey and the smooth green on the palm leaves. The clean text on the side used very fine line work to stay crisp and legible.
