Mythical Leap

A mythological piece to symbolize ultimate freedom, to capture the dramatic realism image given to me I relied on detailed black and grey realism techniques. I used ultra fine lines to construct the individual feathers of the expansive wings. I anchored the composition with a worn stone wall wrapped in light ivy at the base, this positioned the design vertically above the ankle to create a upward momentum to complement the contours of the lower leg.
