Lucha Power

The client wanted to pay homage to their favourite childhood movie, Nacho Libre, by capturing the iconic characters blend of humor and heart. To translate this from the reference photo into a tattoo, I focused on smooth black and grey realism, utilizing fine-line detailing for the masks stitching. I composed the portrait with soft, atmospheric lighting to give the piece a heroic, larger than life presence on the calf.
