Sea King

The client requested a design honoring the power of the ocean, strength, and a deep reverence for the mythological god Poseidon. I utilized heavy blackwork and textured pepper-shading to give the traditional armor, braided beard, and aquatic elements an authentic, chiseled stone texture. I chose a strong vertical layout to emphasize a sense of stoicism, making the figure look like an ancient, immovable guardian of the deep.
