Bat Sanctuary

This piece was to express my clients lifelong love for the horror genre and classic gothic architecture with a dark, atmospheric centerpiece. To bring the silhouette style of the reference photo to life, I heavily saturated with deep black packing while using subtle whip-shading to give the moon a soft, textured glow.I framed the spires with swarming bats and negative space windows to give an eerie vibe.
