The client wanted this dramatic, neo classical portrait to symbolize timeless wisdom, ethereal guidance, and the weight of legacy, using the bust of a statue to capture a sense of monumentaal endurance. To achieve the stone like, hyper realistic textures featured in the tattoo, I relied on a range of grey wash gradients to sculpt the facial features, paired with deliberate white ink highlights to create a glowing, otherworldly effect in the eyes and the radiating halo.
